What a quality cable! Even my IT guy was impressed with this cable. If you want the absolute best quality picture from your display device, I HIGHLY recommend Pureav. I'm quite happy with it!

First I'd like to say this - I'm a person who uses Monster's upper mid grade cables on my stereo equipment, so I can appreciate a good quality cable.
Now,
I recently purchased a HP w2207h 22" widescreen LCD monitor and wanted to replace the thin cheap HDMI cable supplied with the monitor. I wanted one cable instead of having to use an HDMI cable with a HDMI to DVI adapter to connect to my computer's video card.
Researching HDMI to DVI cables lead me to Belkin's PURE AV offering. Wow is all I can say. This is a beautifully made quality cable. It's relatively light for its size even though it's about twice as thick as a standard computer power cord, is housed in a flexible light grayish PVC mesh looking jacket, and has gold plated connectors with metal screw-ins at the DVI end. You can definitely tell this is a quality cable. Plus...It has a lifetime warranty! Plus $38 dollars for an 8' quality made cable ain't bad either.
So how does it perform? Well...compared to the cheap HDMI cable supplied by HP...night and day. The monitor's colors are much more vivid and vibrant. DVDS look brighter and livelier, text in documents is sharp. The cable simply outperforms the generic one supplied by HP, and I would venture to say, most other cheaper made cables as well.
Bottom line - If you're in the market for a good quality made HDMI to DVI cable you can't go wrong with Belkin's PURE AV offering. It will definitely bring your monitor/HDTV to life. Highly recommended!
P.S - be aware that the cable comes in a clear plastic bag. Its Belkin's packaging as it has PURE |AV on it as well as other Belkin markings/info, but it's a plastic bag nonetheless. I was kind of surprised at first till I read somewhere that that's how it's packaged and shipped.
So would I buy other Belkin Pure AV products...yes!!!

The quality is stunning. Works great with Mac PowerBook G4. I hook it up to my Samsung LCD screen.
I believe its the best quality you can ever get. The colors are so vivid. I recommend it for everyone
