It's best to purchase products from a vendor you recognize Aug 02, 2008

I don't know if the spindle I purchased were seconds but the speed of recording varied wildly from 10 to 35 minutes to burn about 230 photos. The label states 52X. Admittedly, I only burned 6 disks and it could be the rest of the spindle was ok but doubt it.

I purchased a spindle of cheaper in price Fujifilm 48X CD-R disks from Fry's and they burned much faster than the TDK. Both were inkjet printable surfaces except the TDK had a printable inner hub.

Generally, I think TDK is a reliable company. My suspicion lies with purchasing from a vendor I'm not familiar with through Amazon. It also took 2 weeks to receive the disks.
