Amazing product for price Sep 30, 2009

I am always skeptical when purchasing memory from a company I am unfamiliar with. Based on the reviews, I took a leap of faith and made this purchase. I replaced two 512 cards that were in a Gateway computer with an AMD chip. I had them installed in a matter of minutes, the system recognized them with no problems, and all is right with the world. I am completely satisfied with these chips. If I need to buy memory again, I will not hesitate to use this brand.

defective RAM module Dec 30, 2009
By Blue Mark Delivery was quick and installation was a snap. I increased my work computer's memory from 1 GB to 3 GB and saw a great increase in speed and multitasking ability. But a week later I started to get random crashes - most often when using Firefox, and next most often when using an accounting program. A week later the crashes, errors and random reboots became intolerable. A system diagnostic identified the problem as the RAM. One of the modules is defective (can't tell which one because they have to be installed in pairs).
Hopefully I can return them - I no longer have the original blister pack they came in. ...

very nice upgrade May 14, 2008
By Aviator i had 2 gigs stock, and 2 slots left to fill... with the total of 4 gigs my computer is blazing fast... some repots have said that the computer will not see the full 4 gigs (true) but dont worry you have 4 gigs and that is the fact, about .5 gigs is allocated, and dedicated to run vista... you will notice an improvement no matter what.

works as advertised Apr 21, 2011
By Aligator This was the first time I ever upgraded memory on a computer, after investigating several reviews, it became apparent that it is best to buy memory in pairs, that way they are identical and have the same bus speed, so I unplugged everything, grounded myself to the computer chasis, made every effort not to touch the metal points on the memory, and simply pull back the 2 retainers holding in the memory and pulled out the old one, and then plug in the new one, if for some reason it doesn't want to plug in, don't force it, you may need to spin it the other way, it only plugs in one way, very easy to install, my applications start much faster, my boot up is still lagging, but I believe there is an issue on my startup that hasn't anything to do with memory....so all in all, I'm happy with the purchase, I have an old Compaq pasario and this worked just fine, my computer automatically recognized the memory on boot up.
