Serial Port Addition Nov 17, 2011
By BT

Aparently the newer Motherboards do not come with a Serial port so I found this solution. I bought a police scanner and it only hooks up to a Serial port and not a USB port. This adapter is reasonably priced and gave me exactly the port I needed.
Works fine Dec 27, 2010
By pfausette If you buy a motherboard with a header on the board it's self, but no port on the rear panel , this product allows you to connect peripherals to the rear panal of your desktop. This product fits universal style cabinets fine.Cable is plenty long enough.
Great with Gigabyte motherboard Feb 03, 2010
By Greg MacLellan Successfully using with a Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P motherboard. Has a tab to be sure it installs the correct way.
It works as intended Nov 19, 2009
By FordGT90Concept A no frills COM port to serial bracket adaptor. It works just fine on my DFI Lan Party DK X58 motherboard in order to communicate with my Cyberpower UPS. The only trouble is figuring out which way it plugs into the motherboard.
