4Good Memory For The Price Paid.  Feb 12, 2004

... I was not sure if it is going to work with my computer or not because the memory I had is double sided and this is single sided. It did work but my motherboard started operating at 100 MHZ instead of the usual 133. But I had some significant performance boost. Recently I started getting errors about the OS not being able to read some memory locations so I tested the memory with a memory testing program and it said the chip is bad. I swapped the modules and did everything I could think of but the program displayed same results. I was getting ready to return it then I decided to give it one more time and then I reset the bios configuration. The motherboard again started operating at 133 MHZ and the memory testing program didnot display any errors. I think the problem was with the FSB rather than memory. Since the memory was very cheap, my guess is it cannot hold data at 100 MHZ for long enough to pass the memory test but for 133 MHZ its fine. Overall I am satisfied with this memory.

5Works great in a Dell Dimension 4300 (Nov 2001 model)  Jul 13, 2010

Put them in and now I have 512 MB (.5GB) of memory (Win-XP 32 bit). Everything is about 25% faster.

Paid $10.95 each and $4.97 each for shipping. I bought 2 of them. Purchased on 04-22-2009 from seller Upgrade Solution.

4Great quality for the price  Mar 03, 2010

I bought this ram quite awhile ago, but remember only receiving one when I had ordered two. I contacted the company and even though people are dishonest and I could have been about receiving only one, they sent me the second one, no questions asked. The company has great integrity and the one RAM was shipped almost immediately and I received it very quickly. The second one also came very quickly and I am overall very pleased with my experience.

1You have a 33% chance of getting one that works  Dec 21, 2007

I initially ordered two of these to upgrade the memory of a Dell PC. Only one worked (in either slot), so I sent the other back to Tiger Direct and ordered a replacement. The replacement was also dead. I'm back to using the original one that worked plus the 128MB module that came with the PC.

This was decent RAM. Nothing special. It did what it was supposed to do. I bought it as a Christmas present for a friend and he hasn't had any problems with it.
