Instead of cooling mine was burning... Jun 27, 2009

Just after fan installation and powering on, computer started to smell founding that the Cyclo fan thin cables (red/black ones) were burned and wires bared out from the insulating plastic!!! The cable melted, of course, damaging anything it touched inside the computer. The fan is rated 12 volts and 160mAmp. to burn cable this way the Cyclo fan must be in short circuit. I recommend if you buy one to test it first making sure the cable don't touches anything.

any little bit helps Sep 15, 2008
By C. Burrell There wasn't an astounding reduction in heat in my tower or my graphics card. I had it mounted on top of my bfg 8800GTS OC it dropped idle temps by 1deg Celsius but peak temp was the same. It is also resting on my card.

Wish it was bigger..... Feb 23, 2011
By Hondais1 The blower does an ok job of pushing air. I dont notice that much of a difference in temp drop but its in an area thats a little warm, so I know its good to have. The blue led is almost a baby blue color. It doesn't quite match my other blue led that's on my 120mm fan. I have a transparent (plastic w/120mm blue led fan) side case cover but from a distant, you don't notice the color difference. I paid $7.99 for it w/FREE SHIPPING (I think IT WAS ANYTHING OVER $25 was FREE SHIPPING). I honestly would say that I think I paid a little too much for the fan. Its kinda cheap. But the good news is that you can pop off the metal bracket and flip the fan so it will "suck" from the top or bottom. By default, the fan would be upwards but I wanted to make it "suck" from the bottom bc my PSU was a little too hot. The unit itself is a litle small. Its about 4"x4". Its shaped like a "U". In conclusion, I would say that this makes a good edition to my rig. I think if the price was $4-5, I would couldn't feel so ripped off.
This is my rig that I have it in:
NZXT M59 Classic Series ATX
Intel i5 650
4GB ram
(7) 120mm fans
Cooler masters Hyper 212 CPU Cooler
Intel HD Integrated Graphics
1 TB HDD
1 TB HDD
500GB HDD
2 Channel Serial ATA II Controller

Cool your Beast Down!!! Nov 29, 2009
By M. Alexander I purchased this PCI slot cooler from a local computer store for about 9 dollars. I didn't expect much from the small fan but boy was i wrong. This little cooler dropped about 5-10 degrees celcius off my graphics card. Thats a BIG difference. The reason behind that is that my 8800GTS 320mb has 3 slot vents at the bottom of the heatsink right before it exits the case. This cooler sits right below these slots and draws all the exhausted air from the videocard out the back of the case instead of recirculating it. I highly recommend this cooler to anyone who has a similar graphics card or wants to prevent heat circulation from a graphics card that doesn't exhaust warm air out the back of the case.

Does the job at a great price Jul 09, 2009

I put a new graphics card with a passive heatsink in the PC hooked up to my HDTV. The temp software on the PC constantly reported 65-68C on the GPU which, while well within ok limits, was still hotter than I would have liked. I installed this fan right below the card and it now reports temps in the 45-47C range. Now that's the temp I'm looking for. A great product that does exactly what it's supposed to for a great price.
