Great product. Dec 15, 2009
By Harmon Huynh i bought my labels directly from Amazon and i got the original replacement, not a generic. just be careful to make sure you order directly from amazon and not from an amazon seller. although im pretty sure the generic stuff is just as fine. i have a set of generic 30915 stamps from another company and they work just as well. happy shopping!

Don't be fooled, these are generic Sep 22, 2009
By Justin I have installed these labels in my dymo printer, and they seem to be working fine. However, it is entirely unethical to show pictures of "DYMO" packaging and use the "DYMO" description and then send generic labels. I'm sure the dymo people wouldn't be real happy about that either.
If you are selling generic product, then say it in the description. But misleading customers, regardless of the quality, is poor business.

Great way to print postage from home. Sep 26, 2009

There aren't a lot of options for people who want to print postage at home without paying a monthly fee to a website. This is one of your options, and works with many of the Turbo or newer LabelWriter series. They adhere well and never jam for me, but after having a box a year or so they do tend to yellow, though it doesn't diminish usability of the product.
Make sure at the Dymo website that your dymo labelwriter is compatable with "postage" before purchasing. All newer models are, and anything Turbo 400 or newer should work.
The only reason this review is 4 stars instead of 5 is that the price could be better in my opinion. This is also the only home postage printing option I've found that doesn't require a monthly fee to print the stamps.
Real Dymo labels - from the right sellers... 30387 Dec 14, 2010
By John Brown First, to clear up some confusion. There are a lot of reviews here that say "these are not real Dymo labels". Incorrect. Those reviewers made a critical mistake- they bought from a 3rd party merchant (not Amazon) and did not realize an error took place and they should have complained to the 3rd party/Amazon to fix it. Some 3rd party merchants were making the mistake of selling their generic items on this page. It looks like those 3rd party merchants with generic labels moved over to a different page (one specifically for generic labels). New ones could make the same mistake so be aware. Amazon will always send you the right item (or else they will fix it). I bought from a 3rd party merchant but I emailed them first to ask "generic or authentic Dymo?" - it is not easy but here is how: click their name to go to their seller page. Then under "Further Information" there is a little link for "Contact the Seller". Bottom line- if any 3rd party seller sends you the wrong item they have to fix it, or you can complain to Amazon (see help for A to Z Claim) and Amazon will step in and fix it. The Amazon rules say you get what you ordered, no bait and switch allowed.
Okay, now about the labels.
I have used Dymo 30387 labels for 3 years now. In printing 1000+ labels I don't think a single one has jammed. This is a great option if it is what you need.
The labels are great for packages- the label is "thermal impact" so your text is kind of burned in = no ink to smear if it gets wet or rubbed. Don't worry though, if "burned in" sounds scary you can't really tell by observation that is not a normal dot-impact printer (no smell, no risk of fire, etc. heck- the fuser in a laser printer gets much hotter).
With 30387 you get 3 small labels with each print. The first is a combined TO/FROM label. The middle is the USPS Delivery Confirmation label (which is optional of course). The third label area is where the actual postage code is printed. Each is separate from each other, so it gives you flexibility with how you apply the labels to your package. There are other options like the single large 4x6 label.
At the time I write this, the Amazon image shows the wrong box (2 part) and I have told them repeatedly and they say they will remove it. But the secondary or alternate images show the correct 30387 box.
A few caveats to know however: First, you need a special printer. Probably a DYMO LabelWriter or compatible. If you are not sure on this do your research (I have a Labelwriter 450 Turbo). Second, your DYMO printer has to do "Internet postage" which not all of them do. Third, you have to have the software to do it. My printer came with Dazzle software and I use Endicia service and it all works together nicely. Finding your total solution can be difficult, there are not a lot of pages that cover all the options. But for what these are supposed to do, they work fine for me.

no delivery confirmation Dec 14, 2010
By David Pugh I needed these bad. I ordered rush overnight delivery. Guess what? No Delivery confirmation on these labels. The 30387 are supposed to have delivery confirmation. These do not. Don't waste your time ordering with Amazon. Order these through stamps.com You will get the correct item through them
