3Good protection, not easy to get on, take off  Mar 08, 2011

A good thing other "protection" is easier to put on, or we'd be overrun with unplanned events.

This gadget protects the hard disk, though someone not being careful might actually damage the disk getting it on.

I bought it for disks I use in a "drive toaster." It is not appropriate for that use as it is too difficult to put on and take off.

On the other hand, if you have a "connector" cable setup, this should work fine as once its on, you could leave it there.
