I needed a storage solution for data archiving. With data compression upto 240 GB, I could store most of my old files. For record keeping purposes I do not dispose them until atleast 5 years. So I needed all of them in one pack where I can store old data. When I knew this is a five tape pack, with each disk of 120 GB I told myself this may be the right one for my old file archiving. Instead of keeping on buying more of 250 or 500 GB drives, I felt this one makes sense as it has a shelflife of more than 20 yrs with a 5-year warranty and the cost advantage cannot be ignored at all - cost is comparatively lesser than any other 250 or 500 GB storage device. This REV is just tailor made for excellent data archiving!
