The one star is for Amazon policy -- not the product which is a fine product.

Amazon policy only allows you to buy one unit. If you enter qty 2 or something it changes it to qty 1.

In many systems that require memory modules of this type you cannot install only one module. The memory systems have banks of two pieces. I am sure there are some architectures that require banks of four pieces.

Further, anyone who is buying this kind of memory module is likely trying to build a large memory system -- 8G/16G/32G or more.

After a pointless exchange with Amazon's "help desk" I ended up buying this same product elsewhere from a vendor not as big as Amazon but capable of understanding these simple concepts. Hopefully by the time you read this Amazon will have corrected this.
