Awful, do not buy. Sep 04, 2005
By Marquis X Skips from side A to side B in my Infiniti Bose stereo. Cheap construction. Monster adapter was bad, but this is even worse. Returning mine immediately.

Lasted a month or so... Oct 13, 2005

"Music Snob"
It worked ok for a month or so, then began skipping like crazy from A to B sides and grinding to the point that it's louder than your ipod. It's extremely frustrating.
If you listen at super high volumes this might work ok, but I'll be buying a different brand next time.

Terrible Purchase Oct 27, 2006
By G. Gotimer I assumed all tape adapters were comparable. This one worked fine for 1 week. Then it sporadically ejected itself from the tap deck. A few days later it broke completely and is now jammed in my tape deck. The tape deck on my car stereo is now broken as is the Macally Podtape. I would buy another a different brand of adapter, but I no longer have a tape deck that works in my car. My worst purchase on Amazon to date.

Macally PodTape ipod cassette tape car adapter Jun 13, 2007
By Jeanne B. Albertus This product does not work in all car cassette players. When played it gives you 1 sec of ipod music and then skips to what it thinks is the next track all the way through the cassette until it ejects itself. Don't buy this it is a big waste of money.

don't purchase May 18, 2011
By William Hopp Rollers were noisy, almost louder than the music. Eventually the rollers must have jammed because the tape player would reverse in the middle of a song.
