Sprint the Aisle in Style Jun 28, 2005
By C. Lopez

Loading my necessary pounds of paperwork and gargantuan, yet graphically chic, notebook into the control-freak carryon bag of old really wasn't working for me. I've been caught more than once dashing through the AA gate, 3-inch heels in hand, after being picked apart by airport security. But last time I had my great new tote--capacious yet streamlined--and I felt very... together. This tote gives style for the miles: topstitching to match my bag and shoes; pull out laptop section for a last-minute, laptop-free dart to the beach before flying home. Everything I need to get girl-y with my geek-y gear. It's The One!

Love it! Feb 08, 2008
By KLT I love this tote! I like the fact that it doesn't look like your typical laptop case--it's actually very attractive! I also LOVE the fact you can unzip the top and pull it out--very handy at airports! Lots of room for lots of accessories. It is big, but I don't see that as a negative. I looked at hundreds of totes before choosing this one and I don't think I could have made a better decision!

Good Dec 03, 2010
By ABG I ordered this bag along with two others for side by side comparison: Solo 15.4- Inch Womens Leather Laptop Carryall (Dark Brown) and Targus TLT004 15.4 Ladies Deluxe Tote.
Basically, the Targus and MobileEdge bags look absolutely identical from the outside. They both have durable nylon-y fabric for most of the bag except for a leather (or leather-looking) stripe around the top and for the handles. They are identical in overall size and capacity, which I found to be too large for my needs. They both seems pretty plain-vanilla and utilitarian and bulky. I'd say the Targus bag's leather trim is ever-so-slightly higher quality. The insides are fairly distinct - MobileEdge has a removable laptop compartment which I found really filled up the bag with lots of dividers, leaving not as much usable space, but a removable laptop compartment is not a feature I personally value. The targus interior is an interesting metallic copper/brown stripe while MobileEdge was black stripes. They both have cell phone pockets and a zipper pouch and exterior pockets (2 for targus, 1 for MobileEdge) that are placed between the handles on the exterior. I was pretty shocked that it seems one of these must be a knock-off of the other. Or perhaps that there is only so much variety in women's black laptop bags. If I needed a larger, more easy-care bag I would have chosen Targus but with MobileEdge very close behind. In the end, I kept the Solo bag because its smaller size and more interesting styling was an advantage for my needs (see the review for that bag).

The Best! Oct 18, 2007

I love that this bag is so fashionable and practical! It's so roomy, very comfy for my laptop to sit in, and the laptop case is removable so I can use it for a normal bag. The straps could maybe stand to be a little longer, but all in all this bag is a great investment!

cheap looking Jan 22, 2009
By Jamie P. This is a nice size but it looks very cheap. Functionally it would be good as it's big and has several compartments, but if you want it to look good, get something else. I returned this the same day it came in.
