Great buy for a netbook Aug 25, 2009
By Stan H. I purchased an asus 1005HA that only had 1gb ddr2 ram installed. I haven't had any issues with my netbook and it was very easy to install. The ram was also on sale for around 20$ making it the lowest price for the specifications. I would recommend this to anyone that wants more speed and capabilities for their netbook.

Mine seems to be cl4 stable despite cl5 labelling. Mar 27, 2009
By T. Nolte naturally im really happy with it. its in an asus 1000he and although i dont routinely OC it i have tooled around with SetFSB and gotten it seemingly stable to 275/760, 2ghz.
others have not gotten this high with it despite theirs also being timed at 4s.... so i wouldnt EXPECT to get one this fast but i still have to give it props.

Compatible and more likely to be useful on your next laptop Apr 19, 2008

I put this in my new Toshiba laptop (instead of a PC2-5300) SODIMM to give 4GB (instead of the 3GB) it came with. Turned out not to make much difference since 32 bit Windows can only see around 3GB (depending on the chipset). 64 bit Vista might help but I understand that to date no laptops have chipsets that can access more than about 3GB.
The OCZ PC2-6400 is simply capable of faster speeds so works fine and is compatible with PC2-5300. It was about the same price as the 5300 and therefore a better choice since I might be able to use it one day in a future laptop (when a PC2-5300 might be scrap). Being specified as faster also means you are less likely to have RAM errors due to marginal timing.
OCZ DDR2 Laptop RAM Feb 17, 2011
By GaS Ginsters If you're a gamer, OCZ is the way to go. They're a bit pricier, but if you wait until OCZ offers a rebate, it lessens the blow... I bought 3Gb total (2Gb + 1Gb) and got a $70 prepaid visa from OCZ.
