4Great Projector lamp, Good Price.  Jan 18, 2012
By C. Morris "Net Shopper"
After a good bit of research on replacement projector lamps/bulbs on the internet, I selected to trust my money and my big-screen entertainment to Pureland Supply (via Amazon). Why?- Because of my distrust in vendors carrying cheaper (and less expensive) lamps and the many disgruntled customers of the cheaper supply houses and net vendors. I almost ponied up another $75-125 for the "privilege" of buying from an electronics store for a supposedly genuine OEM Panasonic part, but the good reviews of Pureland Supply and my faith in Amazon changed my mind,
I ordered the ET-LAE700 which supposedly is made to fit my Panasonic PTAE700U projector. I say supposedly because my only negative is that the housing around my newly arrived replacement had a plastic tab exactly at an area where it would be impossible to close the lamp bay lid. Thankfully, both my original lamp unit and the replacement unit had a 2 part housing, allowing me to disassemble the housing and replace the top portion (with the little tab standing up) with the original top of the housing (sans the tab).
All in all the bulb replacement took about 10-15 minutes, but some of that time was spent cleaning my projector air filter. In no time I was able to hook back up my projector with great results. I will give updates periodically, as I know how some lamps die within weeks or a few months.
I gave this review a 4 star rating based on the issue with the housing not exactly being correct, but overall a very high impression with the quality of the product.
