I purchased these monitors because they are the same technoligy as the ThinkPad T400S. The big difference is the ThinkPad has a horizontal screen and the Planar has a square screen. Not a big deal (just 2 different resolutions). Planar's tech support was great to maximize the touch functions of the screens.
