Works great but...(read on) Jan 03, 2007
By I'm Lettin ya know "the real deal"
To my surprise, I upgraded to a HP DV2000, and noticed most new laptops dont have serial ports. Was gonna buy a USB-serial adapter but was suggested not to. Only gripe i have about it is: 1- pricey 2-the slot on my computer is larger than the card, so, the card plugs in, but not firmly. Fear of damage to the card or the computer slot exists, so when u use this card, must be careful not to pull on wires. It should've come with a plastic spacer of some sort so the card will sit firmly in the slot (the slot on my computer houses the wireless remote). It would've earned 5 stars. Follow-up...ended up buyin Keyspan USB serial adapter and it worked fine. Kept it anyway.
