I first read about this product in a Home Theatre Magazine. I was always looking for a cleaning solution besides the obvious "Wet Paper Towel or Wet Lint Free Cloth" idea to clean a screen. After using this on my DLP TV and LCD monitor for my computer, it completely removed all smears and fingerprints from the screen itself. The spray is supposed to coat the screen with a protective layer. It also comes with a brush kit and lint free cloth to remove excessive dust from the screen and surrounding frame. The only down side to this product is the cost, but I would have to say, it was well worth it.

This Sanus ELM101-X1 is an adequate cleaning kit for a large screen plasma HDTV but could have provided a few changes. Having a 65" screen I find you have to be careful when using the Carbon-Fiber Brush as it is not adjustable for extending from the handle assembly which may make the hard material from the handle to come in contact with your screen on your HDTV and cause marring or scratching. I think the brush should have extended at least 1" to 1 1/4" from the handle to be used safely. I do not use the brush on my plasma after my first use as I do not want to take a chance in damaging my plasma screen. I do find that the cleaning cloth side of the handle assembly does extend and is useful in cleaning the plasma TV screen. The second problem is only a small inconvenience but I find the microfiber cloth is made thin and the full size is 11 1/2" X 11 1/4". My old microfiber cloth was from Monster and was 15" X 15" and about three times thicker. The Screen Cleaning Gel is in a small spray bottle of a 1.52 FL OZ (45ml) size.

As a professional video editor I often get clients touching a monitor or a TV monitor, this product allows me to clean things with ease and perfection.
Most people think I'm weird for having something that looks like it belongs with a car wash kit, but when they see how clean my equipment is they usually ask for the item number.

I have an older Mitsu 55" RPTV with a removable high gloss contrast filter, screen under the filter is matte with a rough texture to it. I had this removed for years with no problem. Then I had a kid and forgot to put the filter back in. Before long there was dirt, crayon marks, etc on the matte screen. Using this kit I was able to get it cleaned up and put my high gloss filter back in (much easier to clean). Highly recommended.
