Works well enough. Good bang for the buck. Apr 12, 2012

Works well. Got it to use with my Crucial SSD.
Good quality case. I like the fact that it has both USB and eSATA port + a separate power port, which can be connected to another USB port for power. Plenty of connection options.
The only reason it's not 5 stars is because the transfer speed decreases as it transfers files (whether using eSATA or USB port). Not sure if that's how all of these things work, but when copying to/from files to the computer, for larges files, the transfer speed drops steadily as it transfers the files.

This is a very nice enclosure, easy to setup and you get an esata cable along with USB, and power that plugs into USB port. I use it with a 320GB sata drive and works fine, with both interfaces, esata & usb. It is slightly taller that an iphone, because it has some foam on one end I guess for cushioning. It comes with a small screwdriver and 4 eyglasses screws. Easy to put together. Finaly it has a leather looking case with 2 compartments one for the drive and one for the cables.
The bottom line, it works.
2.5" hard drive enclosure Jun 22, 2009

The 2.5" hard drive enclosure was easy to use. Attach the hard drive to the main SATA 'mechanism' and then slide the drive and 'mechanism' into aluminum sleeve, attach using two screws and it's ready to be used. It does get warm while being used and has no fan but so far runs without problems. It comes with a black carrying case and USB cable. There is a port for a optional power supply but so far hasn't been needed and get is power through the USB cable.
These work perfectly May 26, 2009
By R. Osborne This enclosure works great I now have 3 of them, one I use with my DVR (ESATA connection), one with a USB/NAS adapter, and one I use with my laptop where I alternate between ESATA and USB. The installation was easy. It uses eyeglass size screws, and includes a screwdriver so you don't need to go out and buy one specifically for this. I am using 2 WDC scorpio drives and a hitachi 320G drive and they have worked flawlessly.
Everything you need!!! May 02, 2009
By Tirso Julio Ramírez Pérez Includes screwdriver, two extra screws, eSata cable, usb mini and usb power (only needed when using eSata) and a pouch with space for the cables.
