Does what it says Dec 05, 2011

There's not much to this. It's a USB to PS/2 adapter. It's small, feels well built, and does what it's supposed to do. It's purple, so you know it's for keyboards. Note that not all keyboards will work with this, but that's not the adapters fault.
Male/Female Difference May 18, 2012

The order was for a female USB to male ps-2. Simple. Not. I got the total opposite. All that was needed was for the order to be corrected. All that would have made me happy would have been that the correct part was going to be sent. Well bought the adapter someplace else. No problems.
Apparently it does not work in all situations. Jan 29, 2012
By Solipso This did just what I wanted it to. I had a keyboard with only a USB male connector. This device converted that USB connector to the older style of male connector: PS/2.
Ideazon Merc Stealth illuminated gaming keyboard owners: Attention! This device WILL NOT WORK for you. It works perfectly well with another USB keyboard that I have, but not with my USB Merc Stealth. And this is not a unique defect of my Merc Stealth unit. I read some message boards posts on other websites, and there is an entry in the Merc Stealth manual that corroborate what I have said. The Merc Stealth will simply not work with this PS/2 adapter.
Also, I read a couple of other reviews here at amazon, and apparently this device does not always work. Therefore only three stars.
Needed the item and found it Jan 08, 2012
By patc We needed this item and did were not able to make a run to one of the tech stores. It was so easy to order and have it delivered directly to the home. Time and money well spent.
Does not convert USB keyboard to PS/2 Jan 04, 2012
By Ike When my original PS/2 keyboard died I replaced it with an USB keyboard. I had hoped to free up one of my limited USB ports with this adapter but it obviously is not intended for that purpose. I hate to rate it so low as it may be my ignorance of it's proper use but how else can I rate it. I would suggest you check with the supplier to make certain it will meet your needs before ordering.
