very easy to connect to HDD and plug in May 30, 2011
By Valentine Giron After installing the the fan to the hard drive there was a slight trick installing it back into the drive bay. you must go from the top of the drive bay slot and gently wedge it into the bracket one side at a time and it goes in easy. I said gently.
Plastic Blue Light HD Fan Apr 23, 2011
By Ronnie D. Yapo Well for the price you can't go wrong, but once I got it connected it hummed and screamed like it was dying. So I just took it off the hard drive and placed it on the bottom of the case and it's happy and no noise. The fan is strong and the light is perty. Other than that, if your going to buy a fan for the HD, buy a metal one. I'm keeping this one, it only cost $6.00 plus it is actually cooling my system down, plus I'm not a gamer or heavy pc user.

Lowers temps great Dec 02, 2008
By MMO nut It does a great job lower temperature.
For my HDD is lowered temperature avg of 20 to 40 degrees F. This will make the HDD last a lot longer and does help performance by keeping it cooler. The glow of the blue led is just a fun added bonus.
