Wired my home with Cat6 to every room. Currently using 9 of the 12 ports which leaves me with a little room for expansion when I finish my basement. It's for my home gigabit network... not a server room. Works great.

Wired up, mounted to the wall, connected patch cables from patch panel to switch... good to go.

Solid construction. Excellent price.

This patch panel is very good. The product feels durable all the way around. It's got a good weight and seems to be built to be able to withstand a lot of cable punches. I'm currently using it for my home wiring and It's given me no problems. Only recommendation is to be prepared with a lot of zip ties to hold all you're cables in order.

This product is not titled correctly. This patch panel is not a feedthrough. A Feedthrough panel has RJ-45 ports on both sides, this does not. This product has RJ-45 ports on the front side and punch downs on the other side. On the Tripp Lite site, this product is described correctly as "12-Port Cat6 Wall-Mount Vertical 110 Patch Panel".
