Tripp Lites 50 foot DVI Dual Link TMDS cable delivers the high performance, high bandwidth needed for todays digital video displays. Gold plated contacts ensure excellent conductivity, while double shielding (foil and braid) provides maximum EMI/RFI protection. Use in conjunction with DVI video cards that are specified as both Single Link or Dual Link. Both DVI connectors are molded and have integral strain relief for long life reliability. Garbage.. Do not buy Aug 05, 2011

I purchased this to run to my monitor in a second bedroom and it flicked a bunch of nothing on the screen then went black. I returned in exchange for another and it did the same. I used a short dvi cable I purchased from the computer store to test and make sure it was an issue with the cable and that cable worked fine.

Cables do not pass good video Nov 05, 2010

These claim to be DVI dual-link cables able to pass video up to 1536x2048. I could not get them to even pass 800x600 cleanly. Unfortunately I did not discover this until after I had spent several hours running three cables above a drop ceiling and down into the walls. I replaced them with cables from MonoPrice.com They work perfectly. Buyer be ware.

I lucked out and picked up one of these dirt cheap from an Amazon.com vendor. It's definitely a Tripp Lite; quality materials and construction. It was overkill for my original plan, but the price was right. Now I'll need all fifty feet for a different use, and I have no doubt it will deliver the goods.
